About Dialogos Research
The name comes from the Greek dialogos, a dialogue. Good research is a conversation between a real question, the evidence, and the decision someone has to make. Our work is keeping that conversation honest.
What the work rests on
- The question comes first
- Methods, tools and timelines serve the question. When they start to drive it, we say so.
- Evidence over assertion
- Claims are tied to sources, numbers to code, and conclusions to the strength of the evidence behind them.
- Plain words
- If a finding cannot be explained clearly, it is not yet understood well enough. We write and speak accordingly.
- Your work stays yours
- We contribute expertise and effort. The ideas, the data, the decisions and the credit belong to you.
Independent by design
Dialogos Research is an independent consultancy. It is not part of, or affiliated with, any university, hospital, government agency, funder or publisher.
That independence is deliberate. It means our only interest in your project is that it holds up: that the design can answer the question, the analysis is sound, and the writing says what the evidence supports. We have no tools to sell and no outcome to prefer.
It also sets limits we take seriously. We provide research, editorial and technical advisory support. We do not provide legal, medical or regulatory advice, and decisions that belong to you, your institution, your review board or your funder stay with them.
